Is Ochsner offering Baylor Shifts?

U.S.A. Louisiana

I know starting is around $22 and diffs are $3 evening/$5 nights/$5 weekends.

I want to know about Baylor Shift options. Is it 24 hours worked and counted as 36? Is it 36 hours worked and counted as 40? Can this be spread on any weekend shift, or is it Saturday and Sunday shifts only? If Saturday and Sunday are considered Baylor, could I still also work every Friday and still be considered to be on the Baylor program? (Obviously, I wouldn't be paid for OT unless I was physically working more than 40, I know.) Are you still eligible for full time benefits?

Thanks in advance! :geek:

I do not know the answer to your question but I am interested to know the answer. Also, I heard the starting pay was a bit higher at Ochsner, at least at Baptist.

What did you hear starting pay at Baptist was?

Baptist is prob paying more because they don't have auxiliary staff. Yesterday, a birdie told me they're running some research on that campus right now...

Honestly you couldn't pay me enough to work at baptist. I even decided that for baby #2 I will have to find a new OB Bc I want nothing to do with baptist.

Ooh, the intrigue! I am so curious now what has happened... I find that people either love Ochsner or hate it, with little go-between.

I was less than impressed with ochsners LD (main) and don't like the location of baptist. I'd consider kenner depending on the OB. That being said I love ochsner Peds
