U.S.A. Louisiana

Published

Hello everyone! I submitted my application this past Wednesday. Has anyone else applied for the fall 2014 semester?

I've recently learned that we now have to take the HESI for LPN so i have been reviewing for that test. Hopefully i will be applying with an 85 by May

Wow every year Delgado is always changing things. So now we have to take the HESI for a diploma/certificate? For all that I should just wait to apply in August for the RN program.

Meeky2006 thats the same thing im thinking about doing its starting not to make any sense applying for the lpn program if i have to take TWO entrance exams.

I saw the new requirement of the HESI a2 on Delgado's website for practical nursing and i emailed that nursing quortinator i cant give her name because of the rules on allnurses but she did respond back and she said that the new requirements are that we take the compass test AND the HESI a2 which is the same test that is taken for the RN program. She also informed me that the test cover math, english, biology, and anatomy & physiology the test is also a timed five hour test

Yea but you don't have to take it, but if already took it to do the RN program then decided to do LPN they will take it. There is no points for the HESI and the profile score sheet. That's if you doing LPN-RN that you need the HESI

hello everyone. i was accepted into two practical nursing programs for fall 2015. does anyone know how many days i would have clinicals at charity? im trying to decided if its worth driving all the way from thibodaux?

Hey, I believe clinicals start in October. I'm not sure how the schedule will be when it does. Try contacting the school.
