Moving to Louisville

U.S.A. Kentucky

Published

Hello all. I am moving there from Michigan because there are NO jobs here. When looking at the hospitals there are many jobs available and many hospitals. The city has much to offer and is beautiful. I have started to apply at Norton. I have a BSN with one year of experience. Any suggestions as to where to concentrate on. Magnet better than not magnet? Is there any hospital that is better than the others?

Thanks

I currently work at Baptist Hospital East and love it there. I also know people that work at Nortons, Jewish & University and they all love their jobs. Just take whatever hospital offers you the best benefits for your needs :)

Just curious if you have heard anything about a hiring freeze around there or if the hopsitals are hiring for positions posted. I havent heard anything back yet but know it takes about three weeks to hear something back. Here in MI there is a hiring freeze but jobs are still posted. I am so excited to move I am getting impatient. I want to get a job there so bad so we can get out of there. Michigan is the worst and it is getting harder to feed these kids here with no job.

What position are you looking for? Baptist East is hiring RNs and nurse assistants all the time. They have several posted on their website.
