Hi all! Just wanted to see if there are any other BCTC applicants out there. I'm getting super anxious about hearing whether I got in or not, and didn't know if anyone else wanted to discuss our waiting time! Best of luck to everyone. ?

Mine also says no...but that's because I didn't have a 3.4 or higher for my cumulative GPA, even though I have a 3.8 for my pre-req GPA.

Just wondering, how did everyone do on their NLN exam?

Mine also says no. I have no idea what rolling admissions stands for. Anyone explain please?

My NLN was 145.

From what I understand, people go on rolling admission if their cumulative GPA is over 3.4 (I think, not sure on the exact GPA) and their NLN scores are above the average. There are some other requirements but I'm not sure what they are.

So would you say we're safe to say that it won't be updated today? I'm so disappointed not to know. I got a 138 on my NLN (96th percentile they said). My cumulative GPA is 3.25 because I was originally pre-pharmacy and took Organic Chemistry; I earned a C for those 4 credit hours and a C in Economics which has brough my GPA down. I'm pretty good on my pre-requisite courses though. I wonder what they look at first, GPA or NLN?

I thought they said they got rid of rolling admissions, at least that's what the advisor I spoke with told me.

Yeah, thats what i heard to. Im kinda bummed about it though, because i met all the requirements to be rolling admissions, so i wouldnt be sitting here wondering what in the world im doing next semester, but apparently they got rid of it. I really hope we find out tomorrow b/c waiting is driving me crazy!!! I wonder how many apps. they ended up with? Hopefully we will know tomorrow, its either going to be a very happy day or a terribly sad day. Good Luck everyone!

Geeeeez. So i woke up this morning and decided to come into work late hoping that not being in front of the computer would prevent me from looking for updates. I also thought that if I could keep my mind off it, that when i finally did decide to look that it would be there. Wrong. So as of 9:15am today, nothing yet. 1st week of April could be as late as Friday but I sure hope not.

By the way, I thought they weren't doing rolling admissions anymore either. The guy at the advising conference said it's all about the numbers now. There has to be a formula of some type.

It is worse than watching paint dry. In regards to rolling admission, I'm actually not sure if they did away with it or not. My advisor for my remaining pre-reqs quit early in this semester, and my new advisor didn't really tell me much. I'm just confused as to why if rolling admission isn't being done, it's still on the selective admission website.
