  1. Good Luck!!! Get lots of rest!!!!
  2. I sure hope i do Too!!!
  3. So i just retook my nclex... Had all 265 questions... With a total of 52 SATA questions (i know, bc everytime i would get one i would mark it down). Im freaking out. This is my second try at nclex.... Everyone i know just got a handful of SATA.....
  4. Please Help! I took my nclex (1st attempt) last week and found out that after 92 questions, i failed it. I have been devastated and trying to figure out what went wrong. I have no clue how to study for this thing... and need help!!! I seriously dont want to have to explain to anyone again (work included) as to how i failed it a second time around.
  5. omgosh.... I feel so much better now! However, I didn't get an email, but my phone has been acting crazy.... so maybe I did, and just don't know it! That makes me feel soo much better! Im still kinda bummed that our first day, is such a long day!!!
  6. Ok, not sure if anyone reads this anymore.... anyway. Our first clinical day we have a medication calculation exam. Im terrified. I don't know anything about the subject.... and I know we only have so many times we can take it... I don't even know if we can use a calculator. To top it off, the bookstore called me, and they sent out the wrong book Nurse/math/meds book.... so the correct one is on the way, but may not be here before the first day of class.... which is next week!! Is anyone else having trouble? Is anyone else as freaked out as I am?
  7. I have several tats and piercings, none of which I regret. I'm a hard working straight A student, lets not place labels on each other based on appearance. I wouldn't care if the person saving my life or my child's life was tatted from head to toe as long as they are an expert at what they do. What I mind is a 20 something nurse fresh out of college, that looks "professional" to society's standard and can barely start an IV.
  8. Quick update- My tuition bill posted, and I spoke to financial aid today. Everything is in order... but they are still putting the financial packages together, and I was told they should be done and posted by the end of this month! So if you are like me, and still don't have financial aid on your student account... they are working on having everything in by the end of the month!
  9. Does anyone have their financial aid posted to your student account? I'm getting nervous, because nothing has been posted yet... and i'm pretty sure I had everything in on time.
  10. Thank you soo much! I'll be looking at the book list!!!!
  11. AH I see. Im always jumping ahead n things, Lol Thank You!!!
  12. Does anyone know when fafsa gets put into our student self service? I already did all the paperwork for verification and everything was done on time, but they have not posted it on my account. I know that every year I have received some financial aid, but now cant remember when they post how much you receive before the semester starts.
  13. what else are you reading?
  14. Thank you SO Much!!! I will be looking into all of this! My wedding band set is not appropriate for nursing, I didn't really consider that when I picked it out! So we were looking at some solid bands instead that I could wear while nursing and just wear my actual wedding set when I'm not nursing. I deff. didn't want to buy another one though and not be able to wear it! Your information has been very helpful, and oh man, I am nervous about that first day!!!!!
  15. So for the students that are already in the nursing program... any suggestions for us to prepare over the summer? I know someone had said dosage calculations. Also, the paperwork says no jewelry, does anyone know if this includes a wedding band? Im kinda bummed about having to take out my nose piercing.... are they really going to enforce that?
