I don't have a sponsor yet..But I want to know approximately..how long it will take..

Figure on four months, (on average), from the time that you take and pass TSE that you will receive your Visa Screen Certificate............that is if you apply for it right now. It takes them time to get the verifications from Israel, etc.

You need to have an employer to be petitioned for a green card. If it is out of the Vermont office, you are looking at about one year to get everything done from the time that the petition is submitted.

Have you applied yet to a state board of nursing for a license yet? I would go ahead and do that as soon as possible because it will probably take you a few months before you will receive the letter that gives you permission to sit for the NCLEX exam.

Hope that this helps.................... :balloons:

I have not applied for NCLEX yet.

What is the Vermont office ..and what is the difference between this office and others?

Thank u for ur concern in replying and helping us

If you are going to work in one of the states that you have listed, they are covered under the Vermont office as far as processing of your green card. That office is the fastest in the US. California office has at least a two year wait.

There are a total of five offices in the US.

I would go ahead and apply to a state so that you can at least get an ATT letter which you need for writing NCLEX. This will just save you alot of time later on.

Have you looked anywhere for a sponsor yet?
