What the US wants

I am applying to do adult nursing degree programe at Northumbria Uni.
The first thing you need to do is get on the web, and look at the US immigration requirements.
The next is to look at the requirements at University here - they are vastly different from there. I just finished being approved for licensing in the UK, and what a hassle.

I may considder Texas and immergration.
What I need to know is, is this the right course to do to get into the US or am I going in the wrong direction ?
What else do they require ?
Is there anything else I need to know eg. Agencies how to approach things etc.

Have a look at these two sites first and see where you go from there...I am in the process of emigrating to Florida - so any help you need just ask. Or another alternative is to go to the International section here - Suzanne4 is very knowledgeable in this dept! :)
