Hi! I am a Nurse from the Philippines and this thread goes out to all Filipina nurses working abroad. I was just wondering which of the two countries above is more practical to work in. UK is currently offering working visas for nurses but they have have also implemented stricter guidelines before one can be eligible to work as a registered nurse there (such as sitting on a CBT and going all the way to UK for an OSCE). On the other hand, NZ is offering a bridging program for nurses which will take 6 weeks to complete and only after that will you be given a license to practice there. There's also a catch because you will arrive there with a tourist visa and you will only be given about 4-6 months before you can find work(usually in a carehome) and that will be the time when your visa will be changed (from tourist to working).

I really need everyone's help on this matter. I am also considering the cost of living on both countries. I don't know which of the two is more expensive to live in
