School Project humanitarian/expedition nursing

Hi!

I'm a nursing student with one semester left (hooray!!!) I have been assigned a project this semester to study a unique nursing job outside of hospital nursing and then give a presentation in class on the profession I choose. I am super interested in humanitarian/wilderness/expedition nursing and hope to end up in one of those fields one day. Any humanitarian or wilderness or expedition nurses out there willing to answer some interview questions (via email) for my project???

Try contacting MSF/DWB (Doctors without borders) it's likely they will put you in touch with one of their nurses for an interview project.

If it's not too late, send me a message and we can chat. Also, check out the Wilderness Nursing Group on FB. I started this group in 2009 and it has become a small, but great community. You will find nurses with experience in all types of nursing that fall under the broad umbrella of wilderness medicine/nursing. We have members involved in the disaster, humanitarian, expedition, mountain rescue, and WSAR arenas. To name a few. Good luck and congratulations on nearing the end and approaching the beginning!
