Hi, I am an experienced RN from California but currently living here in the East Coast. I am Filipino but American Citizen for 20+ yrs now. I did worked at KFSF&RC in Riyadh KSA for 2 yrs when I was young at 24 y/o, hired from the Philippines then. I therefore know how life is living & working in Saudi Arabia with pro's and con's depending on how you embrace the changes. I understand staff nurses/expatriate are paid according to what passport or citizenship they're holding. I am now considering working back there again, honestly to save money. Anyone know how much is a staff nurse w/ american-passport are being paid? Can I also take my 5yr old daughter with me? While my husband can find an aviation contract at Riyadh Air National Guard. I am trying to find out if it is a good decision for us. I would love to hear from you. I'll appreciate any input! Thanks!

Hi, yes it is true.. With an American or British passport you get twice of the regular salary plus more benefits! Many Filipinos who managed to get either of those passports go back in Saudi Arabia to save money. I think its a good idea, so long as your family can live in a very conservative country.

Hi!
Why don't you try UAE or Qatar? They 're easier to live in compared the Saudi Arabia.
