Needs help: Hiv+ foreign nurse with current pd

Good morning fellow colleagues,

I would like to seek your help about my situation. I am Filipino nurse with current priority date (July 2007). I found out 4 years ago that I am HIV positive and currently on ARV meds and currently in good health. My previous agency already abandoned my case and I am planning to push through with my American dream. My concern right now is that I am quite ambivalent if agencies would still consider nurses who are HIV positive even with a current priority date. I've waited long enough for this time to come and I feel that just because I have this condition, I'm no longer qualified to practice my profession in the U.S. I don't think it's fair :(

Please let me know if you are aware of any employers or agencies who are open in accepting foreign nurses who are HIV positive.

Your response is greatly appreciated.

Suggest contacting agencies that are willing to take over as you can't do anything without a employer even if your date is current and see how is willing to take over. HIV was removed from the immigration requirements a few years ago
