Hello everyone.

I would like to ask your help about my situation. Im a RN in the Philippines. Im a NCLEX passer in 2007 and IELTS passer in 2008(i applied both for CAlifornia). Got my visascreen in 2010. However, due to recession in the US, i found a nursing job in my country as a school nurse in the DepEd. I overlooked my credentials that i forgot to renew my visascreen last 2015. Now, OCtober 2016, i got married with a US citizen and we are working on his petition for me for a spousal visa. My problem is, if ever I will be with my husband in the US, and i want to continue my nursing career there, with the above information i stated, what's the best thing that i should do right now? It would be of great help if you could help me what to do about my situation. Thank you very much in advance.

You do not need vsc if your husband is sponsoring you. You will need to apply to the state you plan on living in and get registration sorted

Thank you for your reply Silverdragon. My question now is should i retake NCLEX since i was not able to get my SSN because i was not able to go to the US? NCLEX expires for 3 years after passing the exam, that's my idea. And also my husband lives in Hawaii but we are planning to move to Nevada in 2018. Thank you again for your answer in advance:)

God bless

Usually it is your application and file that is destroyed not NCLEX results. I guess you need to check with them as to whether they still have your results which you could transfer to new state otherwise you may have to re-sit it
