Greetings everyone,

I am looking to move to Ireland to work as a nurse next year, I have applied with Kate Cowhig recruitment agency and I would be very grateful if I can get answers regarding the following questions:

1) Dublin or Cork?

What area is better to live and work in? Personally my favourite is Cork as accommodation seems affordable. However, I have read on some sites where they indicated that the transport is not that great. I am not a car driver and I intend to take driving lessons soon, in the meantime I would like to know how the public transport operates? Are major hospitals close to to transport links? Is the difference in pay between the two cities significant? Can one get the value from their income? Like not having to work constantly to be able to save as well as live a decent life?

2) Are the recruitment agencies genuine? What is the placement like? Can I get flexible shifts? I prefer night to day shifts though I understand I'd have to work during the day for a period of time before I move to nights, how is the transition process?

Any other tips, advice would be highly welcomed. I am single, an EU citizen and I hope to live with my mum.
