So Im currently in a program for my family NP. I'll be done by May 2018. However, my partner lives in England. I just needed some insight on whether it makes sense to just finish school and get my license here or find a school there and transfer to finish there. Im just not sure if once i get my license here .. if i'll have to go through school again anyways over in England.

Hope someone can help! Thanks

Very hard to transfer from one country to another as a student, especially in nursing. Better to get your RN in the US and then look at the NMC website to meet UK requirements.

you need to have completed an approved RN course to meet UK requirements but suggest checking NMC website out for overseas trained nurses

I do currently work as an RN. Just going for my FNP. Should have added that bit. And thank you. I will check the website out.
