Susanne is the poster you want, but in the meantime, you need to contact the nurses' registration board in the state your wife will want to work. In New South Wales, it's the Nurses and Midwives Board.

You may also like to contact the Australian Nurses and Midwives Council.

Good luck.

Moving this to the International forum as per the red banner asking all immigration and registration questions of foreign trained nurses be placed there leaving sub forums for local nursing issues.

First question would be which state do you want to work? She will more than likely have to do a bridging program before they will issue a license and be able to work in Australia. Suggest a search as there are many threads discussing this
