Hope to study in Europe

Hello All,

I have some questions that I hope that I can get some help with. My situation is as follows, I recently graduated paramedic school in the state of Illinois and would like to move into nursing. I am a dual citizen of Poland and the US and speak both languages fluently and because my girlfriend is studying in Poland I would like to attend nursing school in Poland. Plus it would be free. The degrees here are 3 years and I need to know how that transfers over to the US where it is 4. Would that be a problem with the CGFNS and taking the NCLEX? I am not worried about not being able to pass the test, only if they would let me take it. I am currently in Poland and looking at some school in Warsaw. As soon as I get back to the US I will contact the BoN and ask about the whole process. Is there anything specific I need to find out when choosing a school in Warsaw? Any criteria that have to be met etc. Also how would graduating overseas impact trying to get a masters in the US? Thank you for any answers that you can provide.

Usually we say easier to do the training in the country you plan working in. The process when trained outside the country can be expensive and long before permission to sit NCLEX is given

"Long" as in years. Train in the nation in which you intend to practice.
