Hi I need help New Mexico applicant

by gypsie

Hi everybody,

I need help regarding the New Mexco application. How long does it take for them to send an application packet or the finger printing cards to the Philippines???

I requested for the cards from CA at the same time as NM and the cards from Ca arrived after a week. As for NM no news so far.

Everything you need to know can be read in the NM Licensure Question Thread, including where to get it in the US Embassy, Manila.

Happy reading.

Thanks for the info.... but there is another thing that puzzles me. Some of my classmates sent their. TOR, TOR-RLE, certification from the registrar separate from the application and the finger print cards? The 2 packages were just 2 weeks apart? I don't see the logic in this. Is there any?

That is not unique for NM. That is done on all State BON and w/ CGFNS services as well.

Your nursing school must send the TOR and RLE plus forms that a State BON or a CGFNS service might want the school registar to fill up and w/ corresponding
official signatures. NM BON doesn't require a form to be filled-up by the registrar but just send the TOR and RLE (in school-sealed official envelope) but majority requires some forms to be filled-up by the registrar.

The nurse applicant then send in a personal application (biographies and other personal info) separately. This package also includes the fees, f.card cards, passport-sized pics, etc..

Those 2 packages are kept and sent separately to make sure that no one can tamper on the TOR and RLEs, basically. Students are not allowed to send those themselves as is they are also not allowed to send license verification form from PRC. PRC would have to send it themselves (upon your request). Same w/ IELTS & TOEFL. You cannot send your copy of the English results yourself as any impt. document that was sent by you would not be considered as it will always be presumed to be not authentic if done by you.
