If so, how many and under what circumstances (because of violations, type of degree pursued, or no reason at all)?
If yes, how many... I'm thinking of applying for RN to MSN program and wonder what my chances are of getting my F1 visa renewed after I finish the college.

All depends on completion of form and that you can prove you can fund yourself whilst studying. I should image but will all depend on the officer reviewing the file
Let's say the form is ok, I have enough funds for 2 years and my GPA in previous studies here in the U.S. is about 3.9? Have you ever heard of anyone getting rejected for no apparent reason despite meeting all the requirements?
I have heard on another website I go to of UK citizens not being granted F1 but couldn't say what the reasons where. It all depends on the officer I should image

There are visas that are denied all of the time, and for many we never find out why. Same way that some are stopped on entering the US and fully searched, etc.
It all depends on who it looking at your file the day the decision has to be made.
Based on what I know of your history, your chances of getting denied will be quite slim if that is what you are trying to find out.
Best of luck to you.
