Foreign Nurses would like to start her career in NJ

Hi I have questio ,

My Mom who used to be nurse in India has come to US on green card, She would like to start working, what would you recomend would be the best way to approach this thanks. Should she atten CNA course and start doing every thing all over again... Please advice

Suggest that she read the Primer at the top of this forum. There is no reason for her to start over again. She will need to get a CES, credentials eval, done by CGFNS in order for her to have her application approved by NJ BON to be able to write the NCLEX-RN exam.

She will not need to do anything for immigration as she has already been thru that process.

www.cgfns.org would be the place to start for the CES.
