Hello,

I just started visting your site and I have a few questions.

I am from Jamaica and I would like to know which would be the easiest way to get licensed and to be able to work in the US. Just for added info, I have a US Visitors visa I dont if that would help in answering the question?

Read the first sticky posted above. It will give you all of the answers that you are looking for...........but as an addendum, do you have a four year degree?

You are unable to begin any of the applications until you actually have completed your degree and have a completed set of transcripts that can be submitted. You need the completed set for both the Board of Nursing in the state where you wish to get initially licensed, as well as CGFNS for the Visa Screen Certificate. You are not required to sit for licensure in your home country first.

Hope that this helps................
