Do USA LPN's have to take any tests to become a Canadian LPN?

Hi. I was just curious if USA LPN's have to take a different state board or any other kind of nursing test to become an LPN in Canada. Thanks :)

Hi!

I'm not an LPN, but a second year RN student in British Columbia, Canada. I have recently been visiting the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia website as I am challenging the LPN exam here in the fall. There are some areas of 'FAQs' on the website, where you could probably get a definitive answer to your question. The website is http://www.clpnbc.org. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for that website info link. I checked it out and Yes LPN nurses are required to take the Canadian LPN exam before they can work in Canada. :stone
