Hi peeps,

After a year and a half of processing my application with CRNBC, was finally granted registration. Did not undergo any SEC assessment. This was my question for myself at the start of my application as to whether a SEC will be required.

CRNBC does assess each applicant's credential individually, and I wasn't required at all to undergo the SEC.

I reckon rigorous and a very organized application will go a long way in how your papers will be assessed.

I have filed a complete nursing portfolio, including every job description I had in the last 10 years. Plus the positive side is - I dont have to sit the CRNE. My NCLEX was reciprocated. Double winning!;)

my problem is I don't know where to start. I am overwhelmed by just reading what I have to do to.

You start with NNAS. Once approved (estimated assessment is 1-2 years) then you apply to CRNBC.

You are from which country? Where did you study? Australia? No wonder you won't be required of SEC.. Good for you!
