Australian nursing-where to begin?

Hello all.

I am an ADN practicing in telemetry in a the busiest hospital in the Tampa area. My husband begins nursing school (ADN also) in January. We both want to travel to AU after he grads (for 1-2 years). I am wondering how much experience he needs first... And, we have no idea what agency to go with, etc. Any salary info would also be great. We don't want to be in a rural area but also think that Sydney may be too large a city. Please help... We are planning a trip over immediately after he graduates. Thanks!:)

My best advice is to check out the "sticky" thread at the top of this forum - oh! and start your enquiries about visas today. I have it on good authority that it takes 1 or 2 ages for them to be processed.
