I post this before about the Re-Entry Program for Nurses, but i still have questions,so please anyone help me..... I recently pass the NCLEX-RN here in U.S. but i have this anxiety working since it very much different from the country where i practiced plus it has been more than 8 years since i practiced bedside care for the reason that i become a Public Health Nurse so the set up is really different.... Now i enrolled my self in a Re-Entry Program for Nurses my question is has anyone here done or know about this program? How is this done because according to the coordinator i need to pass the classroom program before i go on clinicals which i really need. Please anyone help me i really wanted to work and be a safe nurse is my decision to enter this program is good? How this program work?Thank you

Do you actually have a license to practice as an RN in the US? That is needed before you can even take a refresher program, or a program like the one that you want. Reason that I am asking is that if you do not have a SSN#, then you may not be issued a license by some states and that is needed for these programs.

It is like being back in school and working under a preceptor. Each program is different, suggest that you discuss this with the program that you are considering. They should be able to give you all of the information that you require.

Yes i already have my license here in US i recenlty passed my NCLEX RN.I started working here as Interim Permitee and after I passed the NCLEX RN i enrolled my self in a RE-Entry Program because i still feel i not yet comfortable working in hospital.Thx for replying Ms. Suzanne
