hey!! I know what you mean, it's impossible to find info on that school.

I was just down there to visit the Saint John campus a while ago. It's pretty competitive as far as I've been told. While the minimum average they'll accept is a 3.0, they almost NEVER take anyone with the minimum... They get alot of applicants each year (200 last year for the Saint John campus alone for 50 seats), so it's very competitive.

Not to discourage you or anything, I still think you should go for it.

As for Fredericton, there is ALOT of people and alot of very tall buildings :D. But it's nice. I personally find the amount of traffic and noise a bit hard to deal with, but it's not too bad once you get used to it. There are two universities there (UNB-F and St. Thomas Uni), so there are alot of university students and stuff for them to do. There are a few (very nice) museams(sp?) and art galleries to check out as well. All in all, it's a fairly friendly place, just very busy.

I wish you the best of luck with you application!

I have been to Fredricton and Saint John a couple of times each. Loved them both, but I am a huge fan of the Maritimes. UNB would have been my first choice but I moved to Ontario and now I go to York. I have a couple of friends who have studied there (kinesiology/engineering), and they absolutely loved it! Wouldn't have traded it for anything.

Hi thanks for the responsessssssss!!!Do you know if UNB looks only at your PAST 60 CREDITS or look at ALL the credits you have ever taken.(for the advanced standing route)...I currently just got my degree, so that is why i was wondering.....also, I have a cum gpa of about a 3.58 on a 4.33 scale.....in your humble opinion, do you think that will cut it to get in the program?:eek::eek::crying2:
