SSACI nursing scholarship

Who else has applied for this?

Does anyone have any details when they will announce the awards? Will it show up on Estudent with the other state grants?

Has anyone gotten this in the past? if so how did it work? For example how was it awarded and used, how did it affect other grants or loans?

That is the state aid form.............not the Indiana Nursing Scholarship.

I did get it. It is the Frank O'Bannon Grant. The school automatically submits an application for you if you qualify for FAFSA. It is not posted until almost a month after school starts. Since it can only be used for tuition and books with no refund for excess, the school applies it to that even though they already applied the federal grant to it (they credit the federal balance), then they will refund to you what is left over from the federal.

I also applied for the ssaci scholarship, its separate from the frank obannon grant. I called ssaci yesterday to get more info. They told me that the schools pick who is awarded this scholarship. And that most schools choose right before or after the semester starts. The big difference in the Obannon and this scholarship is that with the later you have to guarentee that you will work for 2 years in Indiana, or you have to pay back any funds you recieved. Ill let ya all know if I get it, Do the same!!
