Hi, I just took my TEAS V test yesterday and was told by the person in LRC that I should not have to retake my test with the score I had. The score was 73.3% and ranked 74. I am not even sure how I should not have to retest with that score because of the scores I have been seen on this forum. My score seems low to apply. I am trying to talk with nursing office to see if I can retest even though I turned my application in yesterday with the score I had but I just don't feel like it is good enough. . . so hopefully I can retest and get my score up. I have had all A's so far and just waiting for my PSYCH score this semester. I am applying to Ivy Tech Richmond, Anderson, Muncie. How has everyone else done?

Hi! I just submitted my application the other day for the south bend campus! My overall score was 131/160. I'm praying that is good enough to get s spot this fall for the ASN program!

Good luck, June cannot come soon enough!

I was told to shoot for at least 135-140 points and an 80 on the TEAS by the advisors. I scored an 86.7 and am still considering applying to both LPN and RN because I know how competitive entrance is. What campus are you applying to.

Just retook my Teas exam today and received a 78.7% on it. It was not much of a change from my 73.3% on the first try but I at least went from proficient to advanced.

I think that's a pretty good score. I think it's hard to remember that it's not like a regular test where a C might be disappointing. I scored an 86.7 and I think that was in the 97th percentile? Somewhere around there. So a 78 is great!

This is an old post but....

I think you have a pretty good shot with your score!

The TEAS is definitely a hard one.

I scored a 77.3% on my first try and then an 82% on my second and I haven't heard anyone else from my campus say they have gotten higher than a 78. (I feel really fortunate, actually).

I retook mine just because I wasn't confident with it, but I probably could have gotten in with it. I have 142/160 of my points.

.....and now I wait.

Good luck!

The advisors at South Bend seem to tell everyone to apply to both LPN and ASN, I only applied to ASN because I scored an 86 on the TEAS. I hope that wasn't a bad choice! Haha! I've heard that at South Bend, 80 is kind of "the benchmark" score they look for...but who knows I've heard "they" say a lot of things ;)

The advisors at my campus tell everyone the same thing! I had a good TEAS score but I applied to both just in case.

"They" all say tons of things at my school and one "they" is never the same as the other "they"! haha.

This really makes me nervous because I did not hit the 80 or above benchmark and I only applied to one campus. I did apply for both LPN and RN, but I really want the RN program. I cannot go by one day without worrying about what the fall brings! :nailbiting:

I'm with you all! I thought taking the TEAS would be the stressful part. Waiting the 2 months to find out if I am in is FAR more nerve-wracking!

Is anyone applying to South Bend?

I applied at South Bend, I had 146/160. I didn't apply to the PN program though. I was going to and just forgot.

I'm South Bend, too!
