Anyone take the Anatomy Class at IUPUI instead of Ivy Tech?

I know there is an Anatomy Class at IUPUI that you can take there instead of taking 2 ANP classes at Ivy Tech. I am considering doing this in the Spring 2007, that would allow me to apply to the Nursing school in the Fall of 2007 instead of January 2008.

Does anyone have any information on this? One better then the other? extremely harder? Or just do the IUPUI and knock them both out at once?

Also, this would be my only class I would be taking.

Thanks!

Hi,

I took anatomy at IUPUI, but never took it at Ivy Tech so I am not sure how to compare it. I know to apply to nursing school through IU even if you take A&P 1 and 2 you still have to take physiology through IU.

Good Luck :)

I'm taking Anatomy this coming Spring at IUPUI. I'm in the Sunday class since I work full time. I don't know how hard it is, though! Sorry! :)

Which teacher did you sign up with? I am signing up for that same class!

Ok I see who you have, last i check there were still openings. I have to wait for them to process my paperwork before i can enroll! Maybe we will have class together!

That would be cool! You'll have to PM me if we're in the same class!

Hey, does anyone know if this counts for both pre-req Anatomy/Physio classes at Ivy Tech? A fellow student in my Micro class said that IvyTech Indy told him that he would only have to take Anatomy at IUPUI and it would count for both.

EDIT: Duh, I just re-read your original post! Nevermind! hahaha!

I took anatomy and physiology at IUPUI. HARDER THAN HELL. And, take my advice, the weekend teachers are NOT easier, they are much harder...so take it during the week if you are going to take it there.

Zevin still teaches that class? I took it in Fall 2001 (I think). Does he still have the most monotone voice ever? Haha! I graduated with my BSN from IUPUI in December 2004. If you are going to IUPUI and have any questions about classes or teachers, you can PM me! My name is Jess.

Oh yes, Zevin is who I have. I'm sure he's still making the same jokes that he made when you took it, and perhaps the same jokes he made 20 years ago. It is a hard class... and he's not very helpful as you aren't allowed to ask questions in lecture.

Zevin teaches it during the week also, but there is another teacher too. I think it's especially hard on the weekend because you are there for 8 hours straight!:uhoh3:
