Pearson Vue

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hello, everyone!

I have a question regarding application to Illinois as RN. When do you register and pay for NCLEX? Do I have to wait for something from Continental Testing Services (CTS)? Or do you apply the same time as with CTS?

Thanks.

You should register for NCLEX before you graduate. Since they will have all the information and you won't have a big delay. I just graduated in May and I applied towards the end of March. You will register for both CTS/Bon and Pearson at the same time. I applied with CTS first and then went straight to the Pearson Vue website and registered for the test. Then you just wait for your school to send your eligibility to test and then wait for the ATT letter stating you can schedule your test.

Good luck.

Ok thanks a lot. I'm a foreign graduate, class 2008.

I thought there would be a letter of some sort from CTS stating you could now apply for Pearson. Like, have them say your requirements were met.

Thanks for clarifying it! ;)
