hi everyone,

just wanted to start a thread for those of us that have applied and are anxiously awaiting a decision.

anyone else already apply?

renee

I just got my acceptance letter today!!!!

CONGRATS! How long did it take for you to hear back from them after submitting all your app. materials?

Congratulations:-)!!!!!

Oooooops! didn't mean to post that twice! And, I don't have any idea how to delete it. Was just looking at my post though, and I just realized I put the wrong school. I meant to put Baylor University. Not University of Texas(was thinking of applying there too.).Most likely though, I am not even going to wait around to hear from the other one because Loyola was my first choice. Applied there mostly to give myself options(and because I love the weather in Texas).

I got my letter!!! Wooo hoo!Now here's a question- anyone know if all the classes will be held at their new maywood building? Lake shore campus is sooooo far for me- maywood would be ideal!

It took about a month, they received everything on February 22.

I'm assuming the earlier you apply the better are your chances of getting in? I am freaking out right now. If I would've known people were getting decision letters weeks after they applied, I would have already applied! I am just waiting on a transcript so I could submit the rest of my materials all together.

Does anyone who has been admitted care to share their GPA, classes completed, etc? My GPA is low from my first degree and I've only completed 2 of the science pre-requisites (Got A's in both). However, I have all the other pre-reqs. Any advice?

Congrats!!!

When I attended one of their information sessions a few months ago, I was told that starting Fall 2012, all classes would be held at the Maywood campus. However, they also said that some events and student activities will still be held at the Lakeshore campus. Does anyone know why they decided to move? I don't remember if they mentioned why.

Seriously? That stinks b/c i'm only about 15min from the Rogers Park Campus. :( Boo. They probably moved it so all of their med/nursing programs would be in one place.

sure! my undergrad BA is in psychology with a 3.99. i am currently taking pre-reqs at a community college- right now i am in chem and micro (A's). still have to take o chem over summer. my gpa at community college is 3.5 i think but i have been an on and off student for 20 years there.

i have a long medical background BUT its all old experience as i stopped working when i had children 11 years ago. i was an EMT for 3 years, worked in a hospital and at a couple different dr's offices- i have been all over : ) i had started my nursing pre-reqs about 14 years ago so for me this is like life coming full circle : )

Wow, that's awesome. Good luck to you!

I just submitted all my application documents today! Now to wait.....I hope it doesn't take too long to get a response!

Hey guys, I just got accepted!!! I got the email on Monday, so that made it exactly 2 weeks after they received all my app materials. Gotta love how fast email makes everything. :)
