Has anyone been accepted to Rush's 2010 Winter GEM Program?

I just received a call for an interview for the 2010 Winter GEM program and was wondering if there was anyone else out there who has already been accepted or is going through the process as well. I've been reading up on some of the posts from the summer session, but I haven't seen anything for this semester. My interview is tomorrow!!! Wish me luck...

Hi Michelle, I also applied for winter 2010 and I am still waiting to hear from them. I just called them a few minutes ago and all they could tell me is my application is complete. Hopefully I'll hear from them soon. I'm kind of worried about my GPA. Currently, it's at 3.35 and I did well on most of my sciences except for chemistry. I am also a member for Tri-beta and I've done volunteering at Veterans Hospital. I will be getting my undergrad this coming fall. If you don't mind me asking, what is your gpa and did you do well in all the sciences? Also, do u have a lot of volunteering hours? I'm wondering if they are basing it on GPA? My GPA is 3.4 and I did well in the sciences, but I still need Organic Chemistry and Nutrition. I don't have any volunteer time and I'm not in any clubs. I think from what I've read on other posts that grades are not the most important thing they are looking for. The interview went well, I think. It was pretty informal and basic. I believe they are holding interviews up until July or August, so you'll prolly get a call!! Good Luck!! And congrats on your upcoming graduation!

I also applied to the winter 2010 program and was told they wouldn't have interview dates till August. I also need to know, did anyone of you guys had to take the GRE?

Hi Michelle,

I have applied for the Winter 2010 GEM program too, and I finally got a interview call from them. The person did not provide any information on who I will be meeting with and what kind of itnerview it will be. Will you be willing to share some information regarding the interview process?
