DePaul MENP Fall 2015

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hey there prospective DePaul students!

I just recently submitted my application for the 2015 fall cohort. I am anxiously awaiting to hear back from admissions! Has anyone else heard back?

Depaul Website!

Depaul Website! Has anyone heard anything yet?

Does anyone also know any differences between the Rosalind Franklin cohort and the Lincoln Park cohort? Is there a different level of academia at either one? I am out of the area, so any information on the Rosalind Franklin campus would be nice. Which one would you guys prefer? Is the RF campus in the city of Chicago or is it a suburb? Is it safe?

Thanks!

I asked once, they told me that The Lincoln Park and Rosalind Franklin campuses offer the exact same curriculum, the only difference is that they are on separate campuses.

The Lincoln Park campus accepts around 65 students per cohort, however, there are more applicants for this location. The Rosalind Franklin cohort is less competitive, and accepts around 35-40 students per cohort.

That's all I know, hope that helps!

I checked my campus connect today and I was accepted!

is anyone else still waiting to hear back?

Still waiting as well! Getting soo anxious!

I'm still waiting too!

My husband is studying podiatry at Rosalind Franklin. We just moved here in August and it's a very nice campus. It's about 35 miles north of Chicago and is a separate city from Chicago (kind of confusing). The campus is located right next to the naval base, so there are some great cheap living options. It's also definitely more of a suburban area and there are a lot of nice areas and nice apartments (Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, etc), but there are definitely areas you don't want to live (a lot of areas in Waukegan). Another plus is you don't have to pay for parking on campus!

I got accepted as well and am looking forward to starting in the Fall! Glad to see there is a group for this :) i'm sure you all got in, I applied directly to depaul but nursingcas could just be taking longer

I am still waiting to hear back, I applied through NursingCAS. It's strange every one is finding out at such different times... I was told 4-6 weeks and we will find out at the beginning of March. It's mid March and many of us haven't heard anything at all. You think they would let you know as soon as possible either way....

My nursingcas application significantly delayed everything. I'm still waiting to hear back. Is there anyone else still waiting?
