Will get the info from my office in AM. It's for Home Health Medical Records Coding Certification offered by Decision Health. Don't see many agenicies paying for certified coder.
Thank you for your time,I didn't know it was in coding. I thought the RNC was for nurses. any help is appreciated.

There is a credentiaaling for RN's to get certified in Home health. This gives you the RNc credential, it is nit in coding it is from ANCC. American Nurses Credentialing Center. Go to a search bar and type in ANCC or go to http://www.nursingworld.org/ancc/
Good Luck to you

I do not know what the requirements are for the cert. in home health, but I was certified in gerontology. I did not renew my certification because it was costly and it didn't do anything for me.
For any of the cert. you have to meet the qualifying criteria, sit for the exam and meet continuing qualifications. I was never paid any more nor benefitted in any way other than being able to put RN,c after my name.
