I have been off work for 9 weeks r/t back problems (I had ACDF surgery on c6/c7). Now Im back and this new OASIS C is killing me. The discharge oasis is LONG, but yet we only get paid for a routine visit, level 1. Some of the questions on it are hard to figure out. I dont like it. Plus now we have these "tracking papers" added to the list of paperwork. Today I cant see any of my patients because of the weather. Im getting sick of all the changes. And Im getting sick of all the stress. I love homehealth though :(

I think if we all hang in there long enough, the new paperwork will become as routine as the old was. I would hate to see someone who really loves HH leave! Our homebound patients need good nurses! I hope this gets better for you...

Since your back isn't the same anymore, you don't want to put yourself at risk with another job. You will get used to this situation and it will get easier with a little time. Go do something to cheer yourself up!
