How to eat on he road?

I'm starting in home hospice on monday. It's a weird question, but how do you eat lunch? I'm taking a pay cut with this job and financially can't see myself eating on the road every day. I am trying to eat fairly healthy too, so I don't see myself hitting up the Mc Donald's dollar menu and certainly don't want to make a habit of it.

So, how can I stay healthy and cheap while on the road?

So, in my first week on the road with my preceptor I noticed she stops for subs and wendy's! AHHHHH! But we didn't get to eat until 2 most of the days and I was starving and didn't eat breakfast!

II had gained a few pounds the week before I started and I lost them!

I keep almonds on me now to stave off the hunger and I am going ot have a yogurt in the office before we go out. I have to!

PB and Jelly sandwhiches this week will always be on me and I will probably leave some frozen stuff in the office for when we come back for lunch, which we usually do and chart.

It's a challenge. But I am eating much less, just worse things for me. It is just too easy to go through the drive through.
