i HAVE WORKED HOMECARE TWICE BEFORE BUT GOT BURNED OUT, IS IT WORTH A THIRD TRY? I AM CURRENTLY WORKING A MED-SURG FLOOR AND I CANNOT STAND IT. ANY THOUGHTS APPRECIATED

Don't allow yourself to be burned out. That would apply to any job. Take vacations. If you were doing intermittent visits, then consider doing extended care instead. Pretty hard to get burned out doing extended care for the same client(s). Good luck.

Geez, personally, I would be looking in to clinic work...I don't know how anyone works med surg. Don't get me wrong, I COMPLETELY respect medsurg nurses, but the nursing profession is not yet what it deserves to be...
