Becoming a Travelling Nurse In Home Health

Specialties Home Health

Published

I have been in home health for 10 yrs but I am getting burned out with patients in a way that I get personally attached to them especially with frequent flier ones. Kinda like getting tired of seeing patients year after year. I am thinking of becoming a traveller nurse so I do not have to deal with the same patients all the time and not to deal company politics. It was just one of those days. A long and stressful day.

welcome to allnurses!! :heartbeat feel free to vent here any time you feel the need. we do understand. i have known several nurses who have done hh traveling and liked it.

Traveling sounds like a great idea if you can do it. The change of scenery every so often would alleviate your boredom and if you are dealing with different personnel at different offices you shouldn't be bothered so much by office politics. Good luck to you.
