has anyone taken the hesi twice? If so, how was it? Can I still use the evolve book to study or will it be completely different? I took the Hesi entrance exam at west coast in la campus and i failed it by 7.5%. I was wondering if the test is somewhat similar to the first test or will it be harder?? We only had the math, grammar, reading comp, vocab, I studied the roman numerals and temperature conversions along with other things but they weren't on the first time i took the hesi so should i expect them for the second time i take the hesi? Just wanna know if its gonna be completely different

It's the same test they have a new evolve book though.

Hi can you email at [email protected]. Have some questions.

I'm retaking mine, will it be the same exam?

Have you taken the exam yet?

Hello,

What is covered on the HESi A2 exam for UTA? I wanted to know what the personality and learning styles portion of the exam covers? As I have been told by a few sources and actual academic advisor, that there is no Sciences and Physics for the UTA exam. I will be taking this exam at a prometric site. I have been told to take the science part if it's on there but UTA will not grade that portion of it? Anyone have any suggestions? My current sci gpa and pre req gpa is 3.7.

Thanks!

Hello, In May 2012 I took the HESI at WCU-Ontario and passed with 78.50% need to have at least 80%, I knew while taking the test that I had not done very well on the fractions and ratios, I felt very sad because of how close I was to passing, my admin advisor advice me to study for a month more, before a retake. But I chosed to come for a re-take in two weeks, but then went back and review some ratios mostly. A week latr I called my admin rep scheduled an appt and went back a week later, but on arrival I got so nevours, I had to leave, I return the following morning and took my time with the math first, you have 220 questions total 55 questions per section, 4 sections total took me 2hrs to finish the math, then the reading, comprehension and vocab, finished 5 min to end time, 4hrs I was the only one left, had not realized that. I was prepared for a fail but hoped for a pass. After I finished, used the bathroom, came back and I was congratulated with my admission packet, yayyyy i was so excted, was jumping, I had pased with a 86% this time....Ok enough of this epistle, to answer your question: the questions are almost different, maybe only about 5-8 question from HESI 1, the rest are new and they about the same level, not harder. Oh by the way the review book sold to you, is totally rubbish, it gives an idea, but over 70% f whats covered on the test is not even on the book, my advice on the math: know your fractions, ratios, percentage and metric measurements. And for the reading comprehensions, grammers, well you either know it or you dont, maybe a little hard with those who speak English s a second laguage though....anyways good luck to those of you still working on getting accepted, and to all those accepted including me Goodluck!

First of all, congrats on passing your HESI test :-) Are you starting next week? or are you starting in November?

Also-I have the HESI (3rd edition) study guide. Toward the end of the math section, there is algebra as well. Did you have any algebra on your exam?

Thank you so much for your time!

[color=#000000]every test is different ( i was told there are five different tests that schools can use). know everything-fractions, conversions, algebra, ratios, proportions...if you need additional study guides i suggest ged math-it has more examples and walks you through problems...it helped me as i haven't taken math classes in 10 years.. how much is the cost of bsn program at west coast? how do you pay it?

Km: there's no algebra, I started this week. Tuition depends in individual. Without any transfer credit. You're looking at about $137,000. And u can only get about $15,000 in federal loan and $5000 in grants. The rest u either get a private loan or PAU cash.
