Hesi A2 vs Pocket Prep App

For those who've used the Pocket Prep app and taken the HESI exam: were the questions on the HESI much harder than the questions on the app? I do many 25-question sets to mimic the test (I know it's actually 30 but only 25 count) and it normally takes me about 5-10 minutes to finish them with great scores. I've been reading through some threads here and people have mentioned taking about 25 minutes to finish the A&P section the hesi. I was wonder if it was because the questions are harder or if people are just being more careful.

Thanks!

I just found the test to be similar to the pocket prep not too hard and not too easy. I'm just say the pocket prep does help though. Goodluck!

Thanks so much for your answer!

Hello,

I found the questions to be similar in style however, they were not exactly the same. The more exposure you can give yourself, the better. I answered some questions and seconds and took a whole minute to answer others. There were some tricky ones for me that required me to really think about them. I ended up getting a 100% on the A&P section, even though I felt it was the hardest for me. I probably over stressed about the test as well. Try to relax, be confident in your studying, and do the best you can. That's all you can do. Best of luck!!

When doing the math problems. And you get a decimal. Like 3.5 should you always put the rounding number like 4? On the question you fill in confused me on what I should put??

I haven't taken my test yet so I'm not sure. I'm sure the question will tell you if you should round or not.

Hi - on each question, they will tell you to round to the nearest whole or tenth, etc.

Study!! Think of it as taking the NCLEX. I have been a dialysis nurse for 5 years as an LPN.

I studied every day 3-4 hours for 18 days. I took the HESI yesterday and made a 91% overall with a 100% in math.

I used the pocket prep and paid the 14 dollars to unlock 1300+ HESI A2 questions. That helped a lot.

The more tou study and answer questions the better your outcome will be.

Best of luck
