Does anybody have a video of the MEPS version of the Duck Walk or know of one on the WEB?

Thanks for your input Patty, but you really didnt answer the OP's question. Here is an example of the duck walk.

The only difference that I had to do when I went to MEPS..instead of holding my arms out in front of me as in the video, I had to put my hands on my hips, take about 6-8 steps, turn around, and come back to my original position. My suggestion is to take it slow and be careful when turning around..ahhahaha. It isnt as easy as it looks.

The duck walk is not that big of a deal. They must describe the exact movement to you before you do it. They will tell you to go as fast as you can, but if you can't go fast there is no penalty. They are looking for balance and muscle coordination. If you start to lean in one direction, the expectation is that you can compensate by leaning the other way or tightening your muscles and continuing movement.

I have seen people fall over and start again with no problems, but that will be up to the individual doctor. Most want to see you succeed and pass, so don't worry that someone will be looking to boot you for any little thing. There are a million other reasons to boot people and for as long as I worked at a MEPS I never saw a person get DQ'd for the duck walk.
