Hey everyone,
I was just trying to get a group chat started on people who have sent in their application packet to the Air Force Commissioning board for the Nurse Transition program for next year! Who has sent in for OB and who's for Med/Surg?

that's my new question as well!! Most people apply for med-surg! I hope the 2 OBs on here get their slots :)
Thanks Jessa951! I sure hope I'm one of the lucky 6!

I chose OB as well, I imagine I'm the only male that requested it? I feel its where I am meant to be, and its where I hope to pursue my PhD down the road ^_^ good luck to all of us! Praying extra hard this month hahaaa
Oh that's awesome!!! So far we've found 3 OB! But I've heard that usually about 20% of applicants are OB..so that's about 22 with this yrs numbers and only 6 spots :/ good luck everyone!
Samoansundevil, so when did you graduate and how long have you been working OB?

HBaum, was that 110 applications for the entire country or just a specific region? If it is the entire country, it makes me a little more hopeful for good results for us all!! Feeling more and more nervous every day...
Our recruiter said he had 84 as the total applicants
Hmm!! That's what someone on the other feed said! Did u hear the number taken will be 46?
I know of one other applicant from our area who is pretty much a shoe-in. She is already an AF Captain who has been working in BioMedical Engineering and now has a BSN, so she's making the career change into the NTP. She also chose OB as a pref.

Did you contact him to find that out? I haven't heard anything from him since Monday night...Maybe I will try to send him a quick email today to see if he tells me the same thing.

Oh geez, I check back here everyday to see if there is anything new! I am going crazy thinking about it!! My recruiter emailed me yesterday and I swear my heart almost stopped, but he was just saying hi and told me the results wouldn't be available for about another month. Womp womp.
Did you apply OB or med/surg?

Hello fellows July NTP hopefuls.
Just spoke with my recruiter, he stated the board already met a couple of days ago, and that the results should be out in about two weeks or less. So once again it is time to wait and pray.
I wish everyone the best :)
