CRNA School Organic Chem Requirement

I am a future Army Nurse and I am interested in applying to the Army's CRNA program in the future. I saw there there is a requirement for either organic chem or biochem, but I was wondering if the actually grade in this class factors into your admission? I took organic chem a couple years ago, and got a C+ (didn't put in any effort). Will this hurt my chances? Should I retake it while I'm still in school? Also, are there any time restrictions on when this class had to be taken by? It was probably 3 years ago when I took it, and it will be at least 3 years until I am able to apply to the CRNA program. I wasn't sure if it had to have been taken within X years of your application date.

Thanks!

Future? As in you are a cadet? Anything else doesn't really count as future in this climate. Nothing is guaranteed and I hear the CRNA pipeline is full right now.

I would retake and get at least a B to be competitive, remember you need ICU experience too.

Here's my 2 cents on this. Hate me or not, but I can't tell you how many delusional pre-nursing students and nursing students think they are a future CRNA. For too many of them, it's all about status or money. I'll be blunt here: the type A+ people who do CRNA would never allow themselves to get a C in any class; I know some of them and they can't even stand typos in text messages. Try going for CNS or CNE, which is way less competitive and way less stressful.

Thanks for the answer Dranger.
