commissioning in Army Nurse Corps

I was recently offered a commission (1st Lt) in the Army Nurse Corps after going through a lot of paperwork and board. I've been selected for the 66S (critical care nurse) and was wondering what I can expect in the next few months, when I'll get the official paperwork, what training is like, and any other question I might not have even thought of.

If it's relevant to the Army, or any repliers, I am a critical care nurse with 4 years experience in CVICU, have CCRN and its subspecialities.

Any information is appreciated, thanks

Congratulations!!! I was recently selected for the 66S slot for the reserves. My recruiter said I have to wait for 30 days to get official orders, take oath and get my ID/unformed etc. Im sort of wondering the same thing but our processes will probably be different but in some aspects similar, my unit drills in San Antonio but from my understanding that is where I will attend BOLC training.

I signed up for 3 yr reserve with a 75k ISP bonus paid out over the 3 years, what incentive did you choose if you don't mind me asking ? Congrats again!!

Nice to hear from you, I wonder if anyone else made it in this year. I'll be in San Antonio as well if all goes according to plan, not sure when I'll be there though. I heard it's in march, June, and August, though I might be mistaken. Good luck, hope to hear from you if you get any more news, I'll post anything I hear

I was selected for 66p FNP Active duty as 1st LT. Waitng on stroll date I hope to be in in san antonio in march . Keep us posted
