My hubby decided to pursue a dream of re-joining the Army (after being out for 11 yrs.). He is finishing school for a new MOS, and just got his orders today - Heidleburg (sp?) Germany. Great. I have another year of nursing school, so I won't be able to join him right away. Here's my question - will I be sitting on my butt for the time remaining in Germany after we (kids & I) join him, or will I be able to use my RN degree in some capacity? My nursing school friends are horrified that I might have to sit on my degree for however long we are overseas. And no, I'm not joining the Army, I got out in 2003, I'm nearly 35 yo, had another baby, and not about to start getting back into shape for all that again!:wink2: Thank you for any insight you can offer me concerning being a civilian nurse overseas!
