Just wondering if anyone out there is planning to apply to Kennesaw State for the Fall of 2013. I know the deadline is 3 months away, but I wanted to get a thread started for anyone interested in discussing the process as we go along!

Wait?! I know who you are! did u have A&PII at GPC in the fall?? I was the girl who was always asking u questions about the TEAS and about taking patho/micro together lol (im also an older student). well im happy to say I passed both with As, thank goodness .anyways, are you going to KSU? I got into CSU. Looks like we are both starting in the fall. Congrats!

@stephanie- patho is interesting but it is difficult. Advanced A&PII but you will like it.

I was in a BSN program when I was living in VA. Unfortunately the school that I went to was Nationally accredited instead of regionally credited and none of my credits from that school transferred when I moved to Atlanta last year. So I have been retaking many classes. One of the classes was Patho. I enjoyed the class and it was very interesting, however, it was hard. Sorry to hear about you chem teacher. I really do believe teachers make a difference when it comes to learning a subject.

Do you have access to the list of textbooks we'll need to buy? seems one cant access the bookstore page in OWL till classes are logged in( which will not be till after orientation for newbie's...). I'd like to buy them sooner....

I remember you...LOL. I am glad to hear that you passed your classes with A's and got into CSU. I was going to apply there but there was issues with starting by Fall so I would have to start by Spring 2014 and by that time my TEAS would be over a year old and I would have to retake it. So I decided it was not worth it. I am not sure if you read my earlier post but I also got into GPC and GSU nursing programs but decided to go to Kennesaws. Best of luck to you and congrats as well.

Then at least you'll have a leg up for 1st semester!

Yup! Its been over a year so I am a little rusty but I should be able to pick it up quickly. If you or anyone else needs help or wants to form study groups I am all for it. After we start this Fall we can talk it over more. BTW, with regards to doing the CPR I am free pretty much most of this month but starting next month, Mondays and Wednesday I will be in class and will not be able to take the course those days. If you and anyone else knows what days are best for you all to take the course, we can all figure out what day works for everyone and call to set it up.

Great! I am not sure what month the nursing orientation is going to be. My guess is that we will find it out when we get the email with what we need to do to get ready.

anyone reading this, yes form a study group with @gjm4jc . I remember you as always being so helpful. Thanks for the well wishes! I wasted my recommendation letters because I didn't even apply to GSU lol. Maybe ill be seeing you in clinicals. Always good to see a fellow classmate get into their program!
