Kennesaw State Fall 2013 Applicants

Just wondering if anyone out there is planning to apply to Kennesaw State for the Fall of 2013. I know the deadline is 3 months away, but I wanted to get a thread started for anyone interested in discussing the process as we go along!

Thanks stephanie, I read in my email that I should register ASAP so the classes do not fill up because there were a limited number of seats but I don't mind going to orientation; the $70 bucks does suck though. I called Kennesaw this morning to confirm that they have my acceptance contract and they said that they do but that they usually do not confirm that. So I am relieved to know that it was not misplaced. Well I got to get back to studying for my Philosophy final and History final for tomorrow.

yeah it's not mandatory. I just wanted to get my parking pass, student ID and of course go ahead and sign up for classes. I guess going to orientation just makes all that easier? I don't know. Stephanie did you go to an orientation when you started at KSU?

Does anyone know of any nursing scholarships offered by any hospitals in the Atlanta area? Such as they will pay for school and after you graduate then you have to work for that hospital for 2 years. It seems that if you go to Mercer then you can get on through the Piedmont hospital system and GPC has one too. Looks like a few years back KSU had one with CHOA. It's not offered anymore though. It would be great to already have a job lined up way before graduation. Sure would take away a lot of stress.

I'm on pins and needles waiting on my final exam grades. Is everyone done with finals already? Anyone in summer school?

Took my last finals yesterday but my grades will not be posted until next Wednesday. I will be starting summer school at the end of the month.

What are you taking over the summer? I'm possibly retaking Chem 2 at GPC.

I will be taking Stats and Sociology. I will be taking them at the Clarkston campus on Mon and Weds. If you need any help with Chem 2 let me know. I'm a little rusty but I understood it pretty well.

I'm just waiting to see what I got on my final so Ill know if I have to take it over. I registered for the online lecture, I know I passed lab. I loathe Chem 2. Fingers crossed. I really enjoyed statistics and sociology.
