Interview Questions for Kennesaw State University Nursing Program?

I don't know for a fact, but I'm assuming that the questions are pretty similar year to year. I also applied for Spring 2013. What are your stats if you don't mind sharing? i have a 3.6 gpa, 84 teas, 3.85 best 7 of 12, 3.8 - math/sciences...I'm nervous and really hoping my score are good enough to get me an interview!

I actually have about the same GPA and TEAS score as you, but my sciences/math are about a 3.4. I saw something on here that at least a 3.0 GPA and an 85 on the TEAS is needed to get an interview at KSU, but I'm not sure how true that is or not.

I've heard of people getting in with less than an 85 teas, starting at about an 80, but not less than a 3.0

A friend of mine got in with an 81 on the TEAS but a 3.8 cumulative GPA. Another friend of mine got in with a 2.8 cumulative GPA, but with 4.0s in the other GPAs, and an 85 on TEAS. I am applying to accelerated for fall and have 3.33... I'm hoping I will have a 3.4 cumulative after this summer semester. I got an 83 on TEAS, math & science is 4.0; best 7 of 12 is 4.0... I'm very nervous too and hope we find out soon.

Best of luck to you :)Do you by chance know how we notified whether or not we get in?

I believe we are notified via U.S. Mail... which is weird. You'd think they would just send an email or some other form of electronic communication. But yes I believe the interview notification and program entrance notification are both done by U.S. Mail. Fran notified me that the letters should go out by the end of this month. We don't have too much longer to wait! :)

Hey everyone!!

I've applied to the Fall 2013 program and I want to know my chances of getting an interview with my stat's. I have an undergrad degree in Chemistry from Kennesaw, Graduated with a 3.53 GPA. I took the TEAS and got a 77.3% I'm finished with all of preqs; current taking A&PII I have 8 A's out of 12 in preqs and rest are B's; it's 3.62 GPA I know my TEAS scores is below the minimum of 80. what are my chances?

Fran told me the accepted a girl with a 79 Teas last semester. So it's a composite of things. GPA, TEAS, and interview. She said they do the GPA two different ways. Are you going for accelerated? I've applied for the traditional program.
