Hopeful for RN program Fall 2011 West Georgia Tech

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site so bare with me! I am a student at west georgia technical college and I recently turned in my application for the rn program for fall 2011 acceptance. I was going to put my grades out there and see if anyone thinks I might have a chance au getting into the program or just to talk with others competing! My grades were: 3 A's & 2 B's. I had composite score of 123 on nln (84th percentile). I'm so anxious to know! I want to get in the program so bad! please give me some feedback, thanks!!

congrats.:yeah: the total maximum number of points you can receive is 100 points, you have a maximum of 25 more points that you can receive from the interview.

I hope I get mines today as well, I'm very nervous.The mail has not come yet. If I caculated my score right I will only have a 64 because of those two C's I made. If I am not accepted my goal os to retake the classes I made the C's in and reaply again for the August deadline for the spring term.

I do think your score is good. The goal will be to ACE the interview because if you do that will give you a total of 25 points. So overall you will have 64.9 + 25= 89.9. The goal at this point is to focus on possible interview questions. IE: Why do you want to be a nurse? Tell me about yourself? etc. What I am doing is typing answers to these possible questions and answeing them then reading them. I believe you will be fine, don't stress it!!! :D

The first step is getting an interview! I just hope that score will get me an interview. I think I will do ok if I do :)

Overall it is a great score. When I was at the testing center in Carol, their was a girl there that said she went all the way to the interview and still didnt get in. (She never shared her scores) So with that being said, I am hopping for the best but making plans for the just in case!!!

Yeah me too but there's always next time! I was reading on here that a girl had 6

67 points in 2010 and didn't get an interview :( that really worries me but I can get a better score on the nln and apply again. Micro is ok.. just hard to study while worrying if I'm going to get in or not.

If need be, I will share the study guide I used with you so you can retake the NLN if need be. I am planing on retaking my Anatomy 1 and 2 over durring the summer because I can't go any higher with the nln.

I am waiting to hear on acceptance to the LPN Program for fall 2011 any idea when acceptance letter go out for that?
