Starting a new thread for any Georgia Highland applicants for the Fall 2013 nursing program. It's been a long road getting to this point - waiting to find out if IN for Fall 2013 :rolleyes:

Does anyone know what tuition is? Is it the same as any other 9 credit hours? I'm also self pay, I'm trying to plan :)

Yes, I have been in school a very long time, and unfortunately I am maxed out on aid :(

Hey - I have a nursing fundamentals textbook that someone gave me, studying a Clinical calculations book, and Mosby's "Tour Guide to Nursing School - A Student's Road to Survival Kit" (I found 1 edition older than the newest edition and paid about $3 on ebay). My biggest concern is having the clinical calculations down pat so I don't have to take a lot of study time on that once the semester starts.

@svckxb01 @DMC87 .. I saw that you were reading some books to prepare yourself for school. What books are y'all reading? I want to be as ready as possible!

A fellow allnurse friend has started a facebook page for nursing "Class of 2015"....nationwide student nurses, nice networking...

If you're interested in joining send me a private message and I'll give you the info to join the page. It'd be a nice way for us all to get to know one another better before school starts. :)

Is there one for Georgia highlands class of 2015? Or is it for everyone class of 2015? Great idea!

The one I was referring to is for everyone class of 2015. We can start our own if y'all would like :)

The other one is a "secret group" that no one else on facebook can see.. :)

I would be great to have a place where we can communicate about upcoming events or help each other out, that pertain to what our particular class is doing and not get confused with another program;) Has everyone already completed the BLS and immunizations,, out of curiosity!
