Brenau University Part time BSN Spring 2015

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

I have applied to Brenau University's part time pprogram for spring 2015. Is anyone else on here applying for this semester as well? I am most curious about what the stats for the Kaplan scores and GPA for this Semester will be. I made a 77 on the Kaplan and a 3.39 cumulative GPA, 3.16 overall GPA. I just wonder how competitive I will be.

My undergrad (BSN) and Grad degree are both from Brenau. It's competitive, expensive and welllll worth the effort to get into the program and make it through. Love everything about Brenau. You will too if you are accepted and choose to go there. Good luck

Thank you! How long ago did you attend?

I work with tons of Brenau grads. Quite frankly, I can't imagine spending that much money for a BSN. Your BSN looks the same no matter where it's from. There are more affordable options in the surrounding area with high NCLEX pass rates that are more affordable. I know people (not necessarily from Brenau) who pay $900 back a MONTH for a BSN! Not worth it. At least not to me.

$900/month! Omg..

I graduated from brenau university nursing program. You may qualify for scholarship to pay your tuitions. It is not true that you have to pay $900 per Month.

.

So, just to update...I was accepted & will start Spring '15. So excited! :)

Nurse 14... how is the program so far? And would you know of the lowest accepted gpa in ur cohort? How many people are in your class?

Could someone let me know how long the part-time option should take to complete? Also, are there any clinical sites near Atlanta? I will be living more towards Sandy Springs and need a part time option for my BSN. With Brenau being the only one I hope there is some way to work it out!

Sorry I haven't logged on in a while. The first semester was extremely disorganized second semester has been a little better but I definitely do not feel u get what u pay for by any means, shortage in supplies for clinical. I am most concerned about how well they we will be prepared for the NCLEX. I think I heard the gpa was 2.5 or 2.0 ,mine was higher so I really can't say bc I never asked anyone else their gpa. They are very flexible for part time students though, very understanding professors

It is 3 years, after accepted into the program, in Gainesville, GA but u can do clinical in the Atl area
